Early Childhood
Our reputation for outstanding academic achievement begins with day one in the Early Childhood Division. The exceptional curriculum is coordinated with the Primary program so that there is a seamless transition to first grade. Preschool and pre-kindergarten enjoy enrichments of music, Chinese, library, computers, STEM Lab, and physical education. Formal art is added in kindergarten.
Each class embraces these years as a journey wherein each child progresses according to his/her learning style and developmental level.
Having both a teacher and teaching assistant, Early Childhood students benefit from the low student-to-teacher ratio.
- Projects challenge critical thinking in the areas of language, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and the arts.
-
Social and emotional skills are developed through the instruction of the “I Care Rules” formed by the Peace curriculum, which fosters a loving, spiritual, safe, and respectful environment in which each child will successfully grow.
