Fine Arts
Students learn to think creatively & critically about themselves and the world around them. They are challenged to apply their artistic skills competitively and share to their talents altruistically.

The Fine Arts Department acts on the belief that every human being is created by God to have a creative spirit in God’s likeness. Every person is capable of creative thought and can be taught to reflect the joy and peace of Christian values through visual art, music, and theatre arts. Our goal is to guide students through the arts in further developing critical thinking skills, increasing communication abilities, and cultivating academic and aesthetic literacy.
We provide curriculum that is designed to cultivate appreciation for the arts as well as to benefit from such creative aspects of learning; students who are trained in the arts will be more successful and well-rounded individuals. Students may select one elective per year and may choose from band, theatre arts, chorus, orchestra, and visual arts. From visual arts to the performing arts, including chorus, drama, and music, students in all grades are enriched under the instruction of highly qualified artists in their own right.
