Journalism and mass media students use state-of-the-art technology to produce publications, giving them an opportunity to practice their classroom skills in real world applications. Their mastery of observation, communication, writing, and critical thinking skills are reflected in each of our award winning student publications and video productions.

The Tigrium yearbook, a collaboration between High school and Elementary students as writers, photographers and layout designers, is an award winning publication:
- Featured in Taylor Publishing's annual Yearbook-Yearbook recognizing the best of the best;
- An "All Florida" rating from the Florida Scholastic Press Association
- A "Silver Medalist Certificate" from the Columbia Scholastic Association
- A "First Class" rating with two marks of distinction in Photography and Design from the National Scholastic Press Association.
The Junior High Literary Arts Magazine is a showcase for the poetry, short stories, and artwork of the many talented junior high students. This annual publication is staffed by junior high students with an interest in writing, literature, and the arts.
The LitMag is an annual collection of short fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry written by high school students, which is also edited and produced by a student staff. The magazine also features original student artwork. The National Council of Teachers of English awarded the LitMag a “Superior” ranking, the highest rank of all county submissions!

The Growl is a student newspaper, which is published monthly throughout the school year. The opportunity to participate in this activity is a curriculum choice, which is available to qualified students.
