Registration for Sponsors and Players Now Open for Vicky Hurst Holy Trinity Golf Tournament

The Vicky Hurst Holy Trinity Golf tournament raises money for all athletic programs at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, including more than 40 junior high, junior varsity and varsity teams. More than 80 percent of Holy Trinity students participate in one or more school sports. Since Holy Trinity’s athletic program was developed in 2000, the school has won 22 state championships, 49 individual state championships, and scores of regional and district awards.

“The Vicky Hurst Holy Trinity Golf Tournament is a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and great golf on an amazing course,” said Scott Crockett, athletic director for Holy Trinity. “The funds raised go to assist the budget for athletics and allow our teams to purchase necessary equipment, uniforms, and other needs. Each team is asked to volunteer in some capacity to assist with the running of the tournament; which provides a great opportunity to meet many of the Holy Trinity student-athletes and truly understand how amazing these young people are. With the golf tournament being the primary fundraiser for the Athletic Department, the money raised allows Holy Trinity to provide a great environment that supports a healthy mind, body and spirit for all athletes.”

Sponsorship levels for the tournament range from $5,000 for a Gold Sponsorship to $200 for a hole sponsor. The $5,000 Gold Sponsor receives “top billing” with name/logo on the sponsor banner, three foursomes, four entry passes to Holy Trinity athletic events, name/logo on pin signage at one hole, and recognition on the Holy Trinity website.

The tournament features a four-person scramble with a $150 entry fee per player. The entry fee includes cart rental and balls, snacks and post-game buffet. Players may win awards, prizes and other giveaways. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m.
