Student Publications

Journalism and mass media students use state-of-the-art technology to produce publications, giving them an opportunity to practice their classroom skills in real world applications.  Their mastery of observation, communication, writing, and critical thinking skills are reflected in each of our award winning student publications and video productions.

The Tigrium yearbook, a collaboration between High school and Elementary students as writers, photographers and layout designers, is an award winning publication!
  • Featured in Taylor Publishing's annual Yearbook-Yearbook recognizing the best of the best;
  • An "All Florida" rating from the Florida Scholastic Press Association
  • "Silver Crown" from the Columbia Scholastic Association
  • "First Class" rating with two marks of distinction in Photography and Design from the National Scholastic Press Association.
The Growl is a student newspaper, which is published monthly throughout the school year. The opportunity to participate in this activity is a curriculum choice, which is available to qualified students.

The LitMag is an annual collection of short fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry written by high school students, which is also edited and produced by a student staff.
