College: B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Education, St. Thomas University; M.S. in Modern Languages (Spanish), Florida International University; Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, Piedmont University.
Career: Mrs. Vera-Silva brings more than 25 years of experience in K–12 education, specializing in Spanish language instruction, curriculum development, and educational technology. She has taught Spanish at all levels, from elementary through advanced high school courses, including Honors, AP, IB, Dual Immersion, and Native Speaker programs. Most recently, she has served with Hall County Schools in Georgia as both an online and in-person Spanish educator, designing curriculum and supporting technology integration for teachers and students. Throughout her career, Mrs. Vera-Silva has held leadership roles as a department chair and Spanish National Honor Society sponsor, and she is passionate about helping students develop language proficiency while fostering meaningful cultural connections.
