Mrs. Downie

College: B.A. in Elementary Education, University of Central Florida

Career: Mrs. Downie has experience in elementary education, teaching students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Since 2013, she has served at Viera Charter School, where she has taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade while also mentoring new teachers and supporting curriculum development. In addition to her classroom experience, Mrs. Downie has served as a grade-level lead, volleyball coach, and community service coordinator. She holds certifications in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Reading Endorsement.
