Beverly McHenry
Mrs. McHenry has been a part of the Holy Trinity Family since 2001, first as a parent and volunteer, and then an employee beginning in 2013. A native Floridian, she has lived in Brevard County since 1994. She attended the University of Central Florida and holds a BA in Sociology. Her past work experience includes case management in juvenile justice, foster care, and adoptions. She was also Program Director at the American Cancer Society, Melbourne. She has enjoyed working in the College Office since 2014 first as Registrar, then in High School Academic and College Advising. She enjoys helping students on their academic journey and guiding them to reach their full potential. Building student confidence and empowering them to experience the joy of independence is Mrs. McHenry’s goal for her advisees. Helping students and their families discover great fit colleges that meet mind, body, and spirit goals is exciting and fulfilling for her. She enjoys educating about the college process, sharing resources for academic success, and helping students hone their adulting skills in preparation for “going anywhere” upon completion of a Holy Trinity education.
Mrs. McHenry is an active member of the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC) and the Central Florida Consortium of Private School Counselors (CFCPSC). She and her husband Mike (who attended Holy Trinity’s Lower School!) are proud parents of three HT Alumni: Abby McHenry Benyo (’17), Olivia McHenry (’19), and Trip McHenry (’25). She enjoys any time spent with family -- whether it be game night, boating, hiking, attending church, or grilling a great meal together. Rounding out the family are their Goldendoodle, Schnoodle, Weimaraner, and an amazing black cat who keeps them busy, now that she and Mike have become empty nesters. Her hobbies include reading and the constant search for the perfect cup of coffee!
