College: B.A. in Social Work, University of Northern Iowa; Graduate Studies in Social Work, University of Illinois; M.A. in Latin American Culture and Literature, Illinois State University. Certified in Global Studies Education and trained by the College Board to teach AP Spanish and AP Psychology.
Career: Sra. Báez-Arroyo has more than 30 years of experience teaching Spanish at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Throughout her career, she has taught at independent, public, and Catholic schools in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Illinois, including AP Spanish Language and AP Psychology courses. In addition to her classroom experience, she has served as a Department Chair, Spanish Honor Society Advisor, class moderator, AP Spanish Language and Culture Reader for the College Board, interpreter, translator, and private tutor.
