Mrs. Vanderlugt

College: B.S. in Biology (Physiology), Sonoma State University; M.S. in Animal Sciences, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Career: Mrs. Vanderlugt brings more than 15 years of experience teaching mathematics and science at the middle and high school levels. She has taught a wide range of courses including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science, while also serving as an advisor and department chair. Most recently, she taught high school mathematics at Lakeside School in Seattle, where she instructed students in Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and introductory Python programming. Prior to entering education, she conducted scientific research at the University of Hawaiʻi.
