Clarinet Performance, Florida State University. Additional studies: music, German, and linguistics at IES Abroad and University of Vienna, Austria.
Career: Dr. Pollack has taught woodwinds and concert band at EFSC, worked in admissions, coached Detroit Symphony Youth Ensembles, and collaborated with numerous ensembles. She has also released an album,
Part of Me is Water, with an accompanying poetry collection. Her doctoral research focused on performance and educational psychology, and she integrates psychological skills, musical techniques, artistic creativity, and educational research in her teaching.
Fun Fact: She loves vegan chocolate chip cookies, collects plants, and has a chubby, perfect cat named Aly.
