  • A Letter To Our Community

    To Our Holy Trinity Community,

For nearly 70 years, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has set the standard for faith, learning, and community on Florida’s Space Coast. Generations of students have walked our halls, learned from our exceptional educators, and gone on to lead lives of purpose, leadership, and service. This legacy is a source of tremendous pride and a constant reminder of our responsibility to steward Holy Trinity’s Mission for the generations still to come.

Today, we are proud to share the next chapter in our school’s story as we introduce a new strategic plan that will guide Holy Trinity’s growth and priorities for at least the next three years.

Thoughtfully developed with broad input from our community, this plan is a response to both the opportunities and the challenges that lie ahead. Its title reflects the balance we seek between honoring where we’ve come from and embracing where we’re going:

    Honoring Our Legacy. Inspiring Tomorrow.

Informed by extensive engagement with parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees, this plan reflects the voices, hopes, and aspirations of our entire community. It also affirms our shared commitment to ensuring that Holy Trinity remains the premier independent, college-preparatory school in our region.

This strategic plan builds upon the foundation of our Episcopal identity and our Core Values, while embracing the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world. It is organized around four strategic priorities that will shape our school’s direction over the next three years and beyond:

    1. Empowering Excellence in Learning & Leadership

Holy Trinity will continue to deliver an exceptional educational experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit -- rooted in a culture of kindness and compassion that reflects the heart of our community. Through innovative teaching, expanded academic and social-emotional supports, robust athletic and enrichment programs, and a deep commitment to character development, Holy Trinity will help each student discover their strengths and pursue their unique path to success.

    1. Building a United & Purpose-Driven Community

Our Mission calls us to be more than just a school. We are a faith-filled community where every student, family, and faculty member feels known, valued, and supported. By strengthening connections within and beyond our campus walls, enhancing leadership and service opportunities, and deepening our commitment to our Episcopal identity, we will foster a culture of belonging, compassion, and shared purpose.

    1. Creating Inspiring Spaces for Learning & Connection

The environments in which our students learn, play, and grow should reflect the excellence of the programs we deliver. Inspired by the opening of The IDEAS Institute, and with the goal of investing in a master facilities plan to instructively and cohesively guide the school into the future, we will create innovative and engaging spaces that support interdisciplinary learning, creative expression, athletic achievement, and spiritual growth—on both campuses.

    1. Driving Sustainable Growth & Stewardship

To secure Holy Trinity’s future, we must remain responsible stewards of our resources while embracing growth that aligns with our Mission and values. This includes enhancing financial sustainability, investing in technology and infrastructure, broadening our reach to prospective families, and fostering a culture of philanthropy and volunteerism that strengthens our shared investment in this special place.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we do so with gratitude for the generations who built Holy Trinity into the extraordinary school it is today, and for the families, students, educators, and supporters who will help shape its future.

Together, we will ensure that Holy Trinity continues to deliver a distinctive, enduring, and life-shaping education for years to come.

Thank you for your partnership and trust as we bring this plan to life.

    Faithfully,

    Summit Shah

  • Strategic Planning Process

As Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy entered the third year of its 2022–2027 Strategic Plan, the school found itself ahead of schedule on many of its stated goals. Encouraged by this progress and energized by the momentum it had built, the Board of Trustees and School leadership began to look toward the future. It became clear that the time was right to begin shaping the next set of priorities -- ones that would build upon the School’s strong foundation and continue to advance its Mission of providing superior education and preparing future leaders for an ever-changing world.

The Board of Trustees launched the process in early fall 2024 by engaging Triangle Associates, a nationally recognized consultancy with expertise in strategic planning for independent schools. Triangle began by designing and administering a comprehensive community-wide survey. This survey invited input from a broad range of stakeholders including faculty and staff, administration, current and past trustees, students, parents, alumni, alumni parents, former employees, and long-standing friends of the School.

Triangle then facilitated a series of focus groups -- both in person and via Zoom. These sessions provided space for thoughtful dialogue and included select parents, alumni, members of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Board Committee, faculty representatives, and a cross-section of students. The goal was to ensure that diverse voices from all areas of the Holy Trinity community contributed to the School’s future direction. These sessions were followed by an intensive day-long strategic planning workshop attended by the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, along with a few major School donors.  During the workshop, participants reviewed survey findings and focus group feedback, identified emerging themes, and worked together to begin shaping the goals and success criteria for the next phase of Holy Trinity’s journey.

Triangle Associates then synthesized the collected data and community feedback into a comprehensive summary and presented an initial framework to the Board’s Strategic Planning Committee. From there, the Committee took ownership of the process, refining the goals, clarifying objectives, and developing the strategies and success metrics that would form the foundation of this new Strategic Plan.

Guided by the insights gathered from the Holy Trinity community and shaped by the collective vision and leadership of the Committee, the final plan reflects both the School’s Core Values and its aspirations for the years ahead.
