Holy Trinity’s tagline is: “Start Here. Go Anywhere.” How do you envision helping students to live this motto?
I want my students to learn that if they work hard and set goals for themselves that they can do anything they set their minds to and they can go anywhere they please.

What do you look forward to the most about teaching at Holy Trinity?
I am looking forward to teaching at Holy Trinity because of the community feel it has when you walk on campus. Everyone is very kind and helpful, and you can tell that they enjoy being at the school. This is so important to me, and I am excited to be a part of this wonderful team!

What is the most important life lesson you want a child to learn in your classroom?
The most important life lesson that I want a child to learn is to never give up when they encounter a problem. I want them to persevere through challenges and brainstorm other ways to get around the problem. I want them to learn that it is okay to make mistakes because no one is perfect, but as long as they try their best and stay positive, everything will be okay. Everyone is going to encounter a challenge, but it's how you face it that truly matters.

What motivated you to become a teacher?
I have always enjoyed school and I played school as a kid. I was blessed to have amazing teachers in my school career and they showed me how important it is to have a dedicated teacher who loves what he or she teaches. They motived me to want to do the same thing for other children. I love watching the "aha" moments. I want my students to enjoy school as much as I did growing up.

What are some of your interests and passions outside of the classroom?
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I am typically baking, crafting, reading, or decorating.

How do you measure your success as an educator?
I know that I am a successful educator if my students enjoy learning, if they are able to collaborate with their peers and develop new insights, and if they are able to apply their learning to new scenarios. I also know that I am successful if they are willing to help and encourage their peers inside and outside of the classroom.
