Head of School

Elizabeth Miller
Mrs. Miller has been working in education for over two decades. She has been a teacher, Registrar, Upper School Head, and Head of School. She most recently served as Head of School at the prestigious Lauralton Hall in Milford, Connecticut.

At Lauralton Hall, Mrs. Miller led the school through its first continuing accreditation process in a decade. She weathered financial challenges by raising $2.2 million while reducing the school’s normal operating budget significantly. She redirected the school to its mission with schoolwide prayer services in the Chapel, spiritual retreats, and increased emphasis on community service, and restored international travel opportunities for students.

Prior to her leadership role at Lauralton Hall, Mrs. Miller was the Deputy Head of School at GEMS Nations Academy in Dubai and the Head of School at Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School in St. Louis. She led the planning and adoption process for both Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School’s strategic plans, and is well-versed in crisis planning, risk management assessment, and financial forecasting. Prior to working in education, Mrs. Miller enjoyed an eight-year career in international business and was based out of Atlanta. She received her Bachelor’s in Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University and earned a Master’s in Regional Studies East Asia (RSEA) from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.

At Holy Trinity, Mrs. Miller will continue her work in leading the charge for educational innovation and excellence. She has a strong commitment to student-centered learning, and she believes in the power of educational experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom setting. She is dedicated to supporting students in their pursuit of excellence and will work tirelessly to ensure that each student has the opportunities and resources needed to succeed while leading the school into its next chapter with the launch of a $10 million capital campaign for a new academic building and implementation of a new and visionary five-year strategic plan.
