Sports Camps Provide Summer Fitness

Students seeking to improve their athletic skills or simply stay active this summer can still register for athletic camps at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.
 
Coach Tracy Biggs’ baseball camp is offered June 27-July 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for students in grades 1-8 and is designed to develop the individual skills of each player, including throwing, catching, fielding, hitting and more.
 
Athletes in all sports are invited to improve their speed in Coach Hooks’ Quickness and Agility Camp taught by Holy Trinity’s head football coach. The camp runs June 27-30, 9-11 a.m., for students in grades 4-12, and is designed to help both male and female athletes become faster and play better.
 
Girls in grades 3-8 are invited to participate in Moving to the Next Level Girls Basketball, July 5-8, 9 a.m. to noon, where they will focus on individual skills, ball handling and agility, as well as developing a love of the game.
 
Soccer players of all ages have a choice of camps through the 3-Lions Soccer Program. Several camps are offered for various age groups the week of June 20. A girls’ only soccer camp is offered July 11-15 for grades 7-12.
 
Tiny Tigers Cheer Camps are offered for students ages four through sixth grade July 25-29, giving students a chance to learn cheers, chants and dances. Times vary per age group.
