World famous potter Simon Leach will be teaching his wheel throwing techniques in a two-day workshop on December 2 and 3.
December 2 and 3, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
Fee $285 for participants and $100 for observers
Mr. Leach is an award winning potter who will be sharing his knowledge and legacy of pottery techniques that will help you to become a better clay artist - whether you are just starting out or have been working in clay for years. Don’t miss this opportunity to work with one of the best!
Emphasis is on the wheel so there will only be 8 participatory spots ($285) and 8 observation spots ($100). Students will be able to take home 5-8 pots, bisque firing is available. The clay used is a cone 4-6 buff colored stoneware.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is due by November 20, and the remainder is due on the first day of class. Please make checks payable to Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, attn: Cathy Rodby.
