Summer Microterms

Microterms are one-week courses designed to give rising 7-12th grade students at Holy Trinity and in the community the opportunity to delve into academic and personal development topics beyond the traditional junior high and high school curriculum.
Please register no later than midnight, Friday, May 17: http://tinyurl.com/HTmicroterm2019

Students completing a microterm course will earn a .25 (1/4) credit to be listed on the Holy Trinity transcript. Grades will be awarded on a pass/fail basis to emphasize the learning experience over homework and tests. Through students’ junior high and high school careers, they will have the opportunity to earn multiple microterm credits, with four microterm sessions equaling a full academic credit.

The summer microterm will run Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendance is required each day to earn credit. Students must be picked up at 3 p.m. Students will have a 30-minute break for lunch under the supervision of the instructor or Holy Trinity staff member. Students will need to bring a lunch. Cost is $350 per student. If you have any questions about microterm registration, please contact Alison Bell at
alison.bell@htes.org

*A minimum of five students is required to hold each course. Should a course be cancelled due to lack of participation, a full refund will be issued. Please note, refunds will NOT be issued for cancellations or illness on the part of the student.

* In the event that the original microterm you selected is not available, it is helpful to know if there is a 2nd or 3rd choice microterm course your student is interested in.  Please contact Mrs. Bell at alison.bell@htes.org with the name of the student and the first, second and third choice microterm options when applicable.
