Harvard Weekend Academies: April 18-19
High school students: learn about your future pre-health career or future business ventures from Harvard students!
The Weekend Academies of Harvard is coming to Holy Trinity on April 18-19! Weekend Academies are intensive weekend courses designed to teach high school students the essentials of the area of focus and the pathway to that in the environment of a collegiate campus.
The Weekend Business Academy is a weekend full of workshops led by current Harvard students that teach students how to pitch their business ideas, perform market research and generate investment, culminating in a final pitch presentation at the end of the weekend.
The Weekend Pre-Med Academy covers various topics within the Pre-Med curriculum including content modules on genetic inheritance, hormones, immunology and organic chemistry. The program also explores case studies on various diseases, poses medical ethics questions, and offers an opportunity to dissect scientific papers. Furthermore, this academy will prepare you for a career in medicine by providing an overview MCAT process, giving you a taste of the journey you will embark on in the near future.
